Unbelievably there is such a thing as an electronic cigarette. It is not the best name since technically you are not smoking anything but are instead inhaling vapor. Manufacturer’s electronic cigarette is designed slightly different, however all typically share similar parts.

The inhaler is where a user places their mouth and inhales. This is also, where the E-liquid that is to be converted into vapor is stored. The atomizer is a heating device that heats the liquid turning it into vapor. The battery houses the electricity needed to power the atomizer. Then finally, there is an indicator light sometimes on the end or sometimes just on the button , which lights up when a user inhales or with manual version lights up when the button is pressed also lets you know when the battery needs recharging ETC.(thus simulating the same effect as smoking a real cigarette).
The electronic cigarette does not burn tobacco like a traditional cigarette, but instead electronically heats up a liquid (typically stored in cartridges) which turns the liquid into a vapor, very much like steam, which then a user can inhale. The term "vaping" is used in placed of "smoking" because technically you are not breathing in smoke anymore. Normally the liquid is mixed with different flavors and nicotine so when a user inhales they can still get similar feelings to traditional smoking without all the health risks associated with traditional smoking.

A: From the current available data, no. There have been no reported deaths or injuries from the use of E-Cigs. However In the end most people discover that it wasn’t the flavor of a cigarette that they craved, but the effect it had on them and often branch out into more exciting flavors. There are some models that can be quite pricey up front, but the average user can get a start-up kit for around $50.I find that the investment into a good starter kit will pay it self off within 30 days and then the price will drop dramatically. I am not ill from smoking and had no reasons to swap to E-cigs when I first heard of these gadgets; I was like another product that is going to let me down. Today I am so glad I gave it a fair chance because I feel fantastic and the money I saved has allowed me the opportunity to become a reseller. The best joy will come from the people I am able to convert and save from the silent killer known as Tobacco.

Tobacco Cigarettes VS Electronic Cigarettes

•Electronic Cigarettes: Most E-liquids contain either Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin as the main base followed by nicotine, flavoring and water.

•Propylene Glycol – classified by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration as “generally recognized as safe”•Vegetable Glycerin – It is used as a sweetener and as an ingredient in a number of cosmetic products. 

•Nicotine - The effects of nicotine itself are similar to that other popular drug, caffeine. There is no evidence that nicotine causes any substantial risk for cancer, and the research shows that the risk for cardiovascular disease is minimal. The confusion about nicotine comes from anti-smoking activists talking about nicotine and smoking as if they were the same. While it is true that people who smoke do so because of nicotine; nicotine users die from smoke.

•Water –self explanatory.

Based on the above data and some research plus our own common sense it is easy to see that there is exceedingly strong evidence that electronic cigarettes are much, much safer than analog cigarettes.

Fears over Safety

Clinical trials have now been carried out in New Zealandas well by Dr Murray Laugeson of Health New Zealand.The test's found that the E-Cigarette was:

"...very safe relative to cigarettes, and also safe in absolute terms on all measurements we have applied. Using micro-electronics it vaporizes, separately for each puff, very small quantities of nicotine dissolved in propylene glycol, two small well-known molecules with excellent safety profiles, – into a fine aerosol. Each puff contains one third to one half the nicotine in a tobacco cigarette’s puff. The cartridge liquid is tobacco-free and no combustion occurs."
